Yesterday was my daughters 7th birthday and she requested a 4 layer chocolate cake with strawberry filling. Then I last minute made a cookie cake to match that morning because I was worried we wouldn’t have enough cake!

I’m so glad I did because we came home with just enough leftovers for us to have a slice of each for ourselves. 🩷🎂

Last year I decided to make my daughter’s cupcakes from scratch for her birthday party. Then a month later I took on the challenge to make my son’s 3 layer vanilla birthday cake. I had already been baking since I was young but after that is when I really decided to start my bakery. So of course everyone gets a homemade birthday cake now.

Yesterday was my sweet husbands birthday and since he loves Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups I decided to make him a homemade 3 layer chocolate cake with a peanut butter buttercream frosting and filled with chopped Reese’s in each layer. It was absolutely delicious and he loved it.
