This heart shaped wedding cake was a labor of love for my nephew Evan and his incredible bride Krystal. I normally don't take on wedding cakes, but I couldn't resist the opportunity to bring their dream to life. Her vision was a vintage 80's themed heart shaped cake with cherries, and I think it turned out to be an absolute masterpiece, perfectly capturing the essence of her wedding theme. Congratulations Evan and Krystal on embarking on your new life together as husband and wife!

This Kansas Chiefs football helmet grooms cake was for my nephew Evan. I loved being challenged to make it. Unfortunately I had to make this cake at a friend’s house in another state and didn’t have access to all of my normal cake supplies. Well part of the mask broke and I didn’t have time to remake it. I think overall though it looked pretty good, and it did taste great.

Well this was a new request for me. The customer asked for a crème brûlée flavored cupcake, with Tito’s Vodka edible sparkly toppers. So I found a crème brûlée macaron recipe from Pies and Tacos with the Crème Brûlée filling and French Buttercream for the filling border. So with some minor tweaking to increase the amounts for 24 cupcakes, I had a great recipe to fill my vanilla cupcakes and frost with the French buttercream. Then as a free bonus to the customer I had some extra macaron shells that weren’t perfect, so I made some of the macarons with the sugar on top the the shell that I torched so it was crispy just a normal Crème Brûlée desert as the original recipe suggested. Perfection is all I had to say about both the cupcakes and mac’s. Sorry I forgot to get a pic of the mac’s.

I'm so grateful to have been able to create another cake for Icing Smiles, Inc.! This K-pop themed cake featuring a young girl's favorite bands brought her so much happiness. Donating cakes and putting smiles on the faces of those who may not have much to smile about is truly a blessing. Icing Smiles, Inc.

I had an incredible learning experience today in JP Rojas' class! JP is an exceptional cake decorator in San Antonio, and his teaching skills are top-notch. He demonstrates techniques with such patience and clarity, making it easy for students to grasp and apply them. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to learn from him and can't wait for his next class!
