Aloha! This birthday cake was for a wonderful woman. She’s such a kind, sweet, loving and caring person I’m so thankful she is in our lives.
The cake was her favorite flavor combo of classic vanilla cake with strawberry filling. Frosted in our delicious vanilla buttercream and covered in homemade marshmallow fondant. I even have an “extra” treat, the pineapple is actually a rice krispy treat. And it’s the gold for me..using edible cake shimmer on the “Aloha” from . I love the shine! This was such a wonderful day to celebrate!

Am I the only one that hums a theme song while decorating themed cookies…” whooo lives in a 🍍….”.

This theme brings me back to one of my first couple of decorated cakes for my kids, my daughter had a princess castle and my son was a Sponge Bob sheet cake. I didn’t know much about cake decorating back then. But they still came out cute. So now when my kids (adult kids) see photos of a familiar theme I’ve created for them in the past, they get a little jelly(fish)…😂

What’s popping? I recently created a few dozen cake pops for a little ones birthday party. These lil partners had a delicious lemon cake center with the outer designs to match the party’s theme. And I just adored creating the lil cowboy hat to complete the look. They were a hit! I’m thankful to create some amazing sweets!
