6.7 ounces of pure peanut butter indulgence. A little crispy on the outside, soft and chewy in the middle. On top get your taste buds ready for home made white chocolate peanut butter ganache, a layer of candied peanuts and mini peanut butter cups. These are almost naughty decadent!

My happiest time of the year is when we hit the holidays. In my humble opinion, Halloween is the kick off and then we escalate to big poppa Santa day. Although the business of Plum and Olive is in hiatus, I still do some corporate gift boxes and friend gifts. I forgot to share my spooky treat box for Halloween 2022. I am not crazy about the cellophane on the goodies, but freshness wins out. I would give up trick o treating for this little box of goodness. :)

I just said ti someone, “if I could just make number cakes, I would be a happy camper “. I love the elements and layering ti create something show stopping. For you that know me, pink and green are my jam so this cake thrilled me. A hood friend was having a 70th bday and requested a margarita cake, this thrilled her. So festive and summery!

In the process of making this show stopper , I might have stumbled on the holy grail of buttercream. The most decadent, smooth, rich frosting I have ever made . For this cake, I made a salted lime buttercream, yummitastic!

Still time for a cake or two. :) Some of you know that I had to scale back my business . At this time I am just serving my corporate accounts . No surprise to anyone , raising supply costs just got me . When things go back to normal, I look forward to doing more fun projects like this 65 anniversary cake. This wonderful friend was hosting a party for her parents 65th anniversary and I just could not trust someone would put the love in it like I would . I love these number cakes , each so fun, each so unique . :)

This cake made a splash at a recent shindig . The host wanted something a little different than traditional cake so we went with a thick, fudge brownie layer and topped it off with a layer of toffee chocolate chip cookie dough. There is no way that was not a crowd pleaser. It weighed a ton!! :) #828
