Sometimes in life, while attempting to make caramel filled cookies, you end up with caramel spilled cookies instead.
Recently I was asked for advice from someone who was just learning to bake, and the best piece of advice I could give was, “don’t be afraid to fail.” The response of, “You don’t fail anymore though, right?” caused me to laugh REALLY HARD.
I still fail. Often. Experiments rarely hit the mark the first time, or the second time for that matter. Failure is not the opposite of success, it is an integral part of success.
