Heads up fruitcake lovers! Because of holiday travels, there will be NO fruitcakes and marzipan during Christmas 2025. I'm enjoying an extended Christmas Market Trip in Germany, France and Czech Republic. Hope to see you all in 2026 when the fruitcake store reopens!

I have a handful of Fruitcakes and a bunch of bags of Marzipan Candy that has not been sold. Most of it will be gone by the end of the weekend. Speak up if you'd like to place an order! Merry Christmas!

Saturday (11/30) is marzipan day! Fruitcakes will be finished and ready. This week I’ll be making enough marzipan to cover 27 cakes and make 600 dipped chocolate covered candies.

The 2024 Fruitcakes are officially baked and will be ready and finished on December 1. Taking orders NOW. I only baked 27 cakes, so they will definitely be sold out! And I only baked 2 sherry-free cakes.....so speak up soon if you'd like one! You can order at Davidbakes.com, or by simply contacting me here on FB. Marzipan candies will be plentiful as well.....ready in December.

Update on Fruitcakes and Marzipan. I have exactly TWO fruitcakes remaining, one sober, one drunk and both covered in marzipan. ($20) I have about 30 bags of marzipan ready to go. ($10 for a bag of 13). Message me here in FB or otherwise if you'd like me to set any aside. It's all delicious!

My batch of Fruitcakes were sold out within hours of my initial post. I have baked another half-batch, and have 9 cakes unspoken for. If you'd like one, message me ASAP. They will be ready on 12/2 and they will go fast.

'Tis the season! Again this year, I will be baking exactly 28 fruitcakes. They will be available after December 2rd. If you'd like me to set aside any for YOU, please let me know. Especially if you'd like a Sherry-free cake, I need to know by baking day, this coming Friday, November 3rd. As usual, there will be tons of marzipan candies again this year.

Made 5 batches of marzipan today. That’s enough to cover my 30 fruitcakes next Saturday and make about 400 chocolate dipped candies. I’ll make more marzipan but both me and my Kitchenaid mixer need a little break.

My fruitcakes are getting very happy in my cool basement! I'm only making 30 this year, and half are already spoken for. They'll be ready on December 3rd when they're each covered with marzipan!
