This morning, the last Busy Bee Cottage Bakery order walked out the door. (Raspberry macarons & cupcakes in the prettiest color combo for a wedding)
This week, my daughter had a medical emergency as well, and it cemented in my mind once again my decision to step back. It really has been such a pleasure to bake for so many wonderful community members. I do promise to share recipes soon on ❤️ let me know if their are favorites you want!

Well, the sprinkle wall is officially down.
I loved it, but the blank slate feels exhilarating right now.
I can't thank friends and customers enough for coming out to Lucy's yard sale fundraiser and supporting my girl. It was bittersweet to see regular bakery customers again, but mostly just sweet. allowed me to meet so many amazing people, and make friendships I just treasure. I am looking forward to having time to post recipes on mystainedapron.com again and giving regular customers the chance to remake them with their families ❤️

Busy Bee Pop up sale coming!
My youngest, Lucy, who some of you have met at markets, has been wanting to turn our front yard into a native garden with a lending library and is having a garage sale to earn money towards her project.

I thought I might have twinges of regret when Salmon Creek Farmers Market started... but no. Doing markets, especially with the variety of products I sell, was intense, to say the least, especially being a one woman operation.
I really appreciate the messages from regulars who will miss me and as much as I'll miss seeing you this is the right call for me and my family. So I hope to see you on Thursday! Just as a fellow customer and not a vendor!
