Our last market day at The Salisbury NH Farmers Market. Attendance has been steadily tapering off so we are keeping things very simple and minimalistic this week.
🍞 Limited numbers of our Artisan White sourdough boules will be available in full size only.
🥯 Bagels will be on tap this week in Everything, Cinnamon crunch (think Panera’s) and pumpkin+spice.
🍪 Pumpkin chip cookies are back, and
🍩 Apple cider donuts (baked not fried. GF, DF, grain free) are a seasonal favourite and a great way to say, “see ya later!”
As usual, granola and hand crafted marshmallows will also be available.

Have a favourite that we haven’t offered in a while? Let us know! We love to hear from our customers and are considering a bread subscription this winter for those who want to enjoy the coziness & health benefits of our bakes over the next several months.

Thank you to all who supported us in our first NH market.

We're all things Autumn this week. Roll out more apples and pumpkins and meet us at the Salisbury Farmers' Market for the two remaining markets of the season.
🍁Our Artisan white sourdough seems so plain compared to the rest of our menu this week, but she is the backbone of our lil' bakery and nary a week goes by that we don't bake her.
🍎What if we could put apple pie into sourdough bread? Making her debut appearance to our menu this week is our lovely spiced apple loaf. Studded with diced apple through with warming spice undertones. She’s not going to be a candidate for sandwiches but oh! imagine breakfast with warm honey or just plain?
🍫This week we also have a limited quantity of our sourdough chocolate swirl loaf which is a beautiful blend of our double chocolate loaf with our artisan white. A lil’ bit of sweet in the comforting flavours of our artisan white.
🍏 More apple yummines-Our apple rosemary fig focaccia is studded with dried rosemary and figs and baked with rosemary, figs and apples. We often eat focaccia for dinner dipped in herbs and olive oil but we know some of you like to snack on the way home from market. We think she’s pretty! Available in both snackable focaccia “fingers” and whole.
Sweeties this week continue our Autumn escapade.
🎃Pumpkin chip muffins are a great snacky food. We purée our very own local pumpkins and mix them with our own blend of gf flours and allergen free chocolate chips. We never use 1:1 blends or xanathan gums. These contain our very own soy-free, corn-free, organic pasture happy chicken eggs. Bertha has just started laying and her yolks are just lovely!
🎃Our pumpkin granola bars combine sprouted gf oats and quinoa flakes with dates, raw local honey and a host of seeds and nuts. The subtle sweetness contrasted with the crunch and salted tops is quite satisfying. Contains almonds and coconut. Another great snacky food, or freeze and save for another day.
🥒Our small quick breads have been very popular. This week we bring you fluffy zucchini breads made with our extremely local zucchini and chicken eggs.
🎃New also to our menu this week are pumpkin brownies. Now for those of you who are not that fond of allthingspumpkin, this may be the sweetie for you! These are fudgey brownies (one needs to make these clarifications) and the pumpkin really just gives it additional moisture and a wonderful nutritional boost!
🍂Marshmallows and granolas are wonderfully shelf stable extras or “edible add ons” as our you best taste-taster likes to say.
🥰We will continue our pay-it-forward program. For those who missed it last week we wanted to be a conduit for people to BLESS others, not curse them. The beauty is that you have no idea who you are blessing or who may have just blessed you.🙂
We hope to see you this week at the market. Despite busy schedules (we get it), wholesome food that helps and not hurts your body is always a good investment.
See you at market!

The world is Broken right now, this much is true. We can't change that (but Jesus can ) but maybe, just maybe, we can be the conduit for us all to love on a complete stranger-regardless. This week at the Salisbury Farmers' Market we will be rolling out a pay-it-forward-in-love promotion. Come on by and pay it forward and buy a stranger whom vou'll never know something from our market stand. Whichever item is up to you. If you feel led, Bless someone. If you don't, that's absolutely fine also.
🍂Our Artisan white sourdough loaf is the mainstay of our bakery and a great starting point if you are new to our bakes.
🍁New to this market this week is our maple-oat loaf which is a yummy blend of the sourness of sourdough with the hint of maple sweetness. We bake this with both gf oat flour and gf rolled oats along with other flours. The result is slightly nutty and warm. It is slightly less airy than our artisan white due to the rolled oats and would be scrummy on a cool morning topped with apple butter or toasted with honey.
🥖 Baguettes are back! Sooo versatile! Our family enjoys them with soups (and it’s almost soup season!) as sub sandwiches, toasted and topped with Tapenades and dips….As with all our breads, this is made with a unique fingerprint of flours and ingredients.
🥕 Speaking of soup..now that the weather is indeed getting chillier, we will be offering at least one bread item that pairs nicely with soup for every market until the end of September. Enter Carrot flax rolls which have a subtle sweetness due to the shredded carrot. They are soft and studded with golden and dark flaxseeds.
🍂Our muffin of the week this week is cinnamon chip. We make our very own cinnamon chips and you will see these again in future weeks. This muffins has all the anti inflammatory benefits of cinnamon. It’s not too sweet but the chips do have both coconut sugar and local honey.
🍎 Apple pie crumble squares are here. If you loved our strawberry or blueberry squares you will love these as well. Autumny goodness in every bite. Great for a quick this afternoon snack and as always, sweetened without refined sugars.
🎃 Now, we’re a little early on the pumpkin bakes but these cookies were such a favourite last autumn that we decided that they just had to show up at the Salisbury market in September. These cookies are not sourdough and do contain organic white and brown sugars. We bought a local pumpkin just for this recipe. Never out of a can! Our chocolate chips do not contain any of the top allergens but they too have refined sugar in them.
🍁Hand crafted marshmallows are back! No HFCS here! We use organic honey and grass fed gelatin to make these tasty morsels.
Thank you for your support of our very micro bakery! We hope you are blessed.

Autumn is here!!! And with her comes all the tastes and flavour we love! As is our custom, we will be featuring chai spices and that quintessential fruit—the apple.
🍁Our classic Artisan Sourdough is the backbone of our bakery and a wonderfully simple loaf with a moist, chewy crumb and a golden-brown crunchy crust. Just like sourdough should be!
Available in both whole and minis.
🍂On the savoury side this week is our sourdough roasted garlic rosemary loaf. The nuttiness of roasted garlic blends so well with the woodsiness of rosemary. We love rosemary any way! Both whole and minis will be available this week.
🍁Based on feedback from our official taste testers, plain polarbrot (flatbreads from Scandinavia) supersede the flavoured ones we offered a few weeks ago, so we will be back to market with no frills flatbreads. These work well for breakfast or lunchboxes with jams and nutbutters or avocado and greens. The options are endless.
🍎For sweeties this week we are spotlighting sourdough apple fritters. Rest assured, these are not your gf version of dunk'in! In keeping with our bakery's ethos, our fritters are made with coconut sugar, blended with gf flours and sourdough, baked not
fried, and glazed with coconut butter (manna) and maple syrup.
We hope you can taste the love and respect for your belly we have baked into these yummies!
🍌We've put a twist on our simple banana muffin by adding loose chai tea + spices. So easy just to pop these in the lunchbox and pairs so well with a hot cuppa chai or our warming berry tea below.
🍂Our very own graham crackers are made with our own blend of flours and are shelf stable so unlike most of our bakes, you can enjoy these for weeks. Lunches, snacking, dippers...you name it!
🍫Also back on the menu is our chocolate dessert hummus which pairs nicely with fresh fruit (like apples!) and our hand crafted Graham crackers. After school snacks never tasted so good!
🍁Speaking of ‘hand crafted’-beginning this week, we will be rolling out our hand crafted marshmallows! We‘ve gotten so into this marshmallow making endeavour that we’re going to feature a different marshmallow flavour each week in September. This week we begin our marshmallowy adventure with the classic marshmallow-no high fructose corn syrups or refined sugars here! We use grass fed gelatin and organic honey for sweetness.
🍂For the month of September we will also be featuring chai-spiced granola. We’ve mixed our own personal blend of spices for this signature chai which will be highlighted throughout the month. In addition to everything in our classic granola, this contains light flax seeds, h**p seeds and of course chai spice. Still made with gf sprouted oats and contains almonds.
🫖 This warming berry tea is amazing, not just in taste, but in its properties. Drank hot, it reminds one of a lemon tea that is so soothing when under the weather, but drank cold (or even cooled in your cuppa) some very spicy undertones come to the forefront! We thought it would make an excellent “transition tea“ as we have days where both an iced or warm tea would be appreciated.
The days are getting shorter and certainly busier with new school schedules and extracurricular activities. We get that so we have tried to create a menu that supports you in convenience and your family’s health. Please make supporting your local farmers a continued priority. We need you!
Can’t wait to see you at market this Monday Sept 8!

Autumn is in the air and while there’s several factors working against us tomorrow (weather, back-to-school schedule changes) we have you covered (☂️😆)!
We’ve got your lunch bags packed this week with healthy gf options! Our Artisan White sourdough makes excellent sandwiches and our cinnamon raisin swirl loaf has you covered for breakfast. We will also have blueberry focaccia which can’t really make up his mind if he’s a dessert or a breakfast. When your bakes are not sopped in sugars it’s easy to justify it as a breakfast food! 🫐 Need a healthy gf lunch option? Our seeded baps are perfect for any sandwich filling you choose, or, on the lighter side, our eat-your-greens hummus in individual portion sizes pairs so nicely with our seeded crackers or any of the local veg sold at market.
🍑 Peaches are out and we will have limited peach cobbler gf, df and refined sugar free (and oils..of course!) in small loaf pan size.
Mid-day pick-me-up? After school snack? Our pistachio matcha energy balls are packed with superfoods and clean protein without all the artificial yucky stuff.
Our muffin of the week can’t get much more seasonal than this! Chocolate ZUCCHINI topped with chocolate ganache! 🧁
Lastly, with a nod towards those flavours we all love which are coming in September, we hope to bring you chai-spiced oatmeal raisin cookies.
Just a reminder that there will be no market on Sept 1 but we will be back the following Monday through September.

We’ll be supplying healthy gf, df bakes for the New London Historical Society‘s Farm to Fork gala this Saturday and returning to the The Salisbury NH Farmers Market again on Monday.
Thank you so much to those who keep returning week after week. We are enjoying getting our name out there in our community.
This Monday sourdough bagels will be returning to market in three different flavours. We also plan to bring our French country bread as well as our Artisan white -all slowly fermented and baked fresh on market day. Our classic artisan sourdough is the old faithful and the backbone of our menu. Available in both mini and whole boules. The French country is more earthy than the classic (think a whole wheat loaf compared to a white bread) but not as dark as say, pumpernickel.
Our sweeties this week include PBJ tarts-a decadent twist on an old classic favourite, (sourdough) chocolate chip cookies, and our muffin of the week is one of our favourites-bran. Whaaaat?! 😱 How can that be you ask? Isn’t bran the wheatiest thing on the planet? Well….it depends on what kind of bran. Our muffins use gf oat bran and taste just like you remember a (wheat) bran muffin tasting. They are packed full of organic raisins and whole grains. We love to freeze these and enjoy them for breakfast.
Looking forward to seeing you all at market!
