🥹😭 I am crying again, and this time it is over HOMEMADE SOURDOUGH BREAD 🙏🏼🙌🏼🍞 I have not had bread this good since my food allergies showed up in 2020! This is just the beginning of our gluten free sourdough journey, are y’all ready?

Today I learned that a cake can make me emotional - when my grandmother passed away a few months ago, I inherited all of her and my great grandmother’s cookbooks and recipe Rolodex. Today I attempted at recreating a recipe that my great grandmother was known for, but of course a version. I wasn’t until I was finished with everything and placed it on the cake plate, that everything hit me. I haven’t seen “that cake” on that cake plate since mid-early 2000’s. Definitely a big bittersweet moment, but glad I am able to have the memories AND some of the recipes attached to them 🥹🍰

Made recipe this morning and it did not disappoint 🙌🏼😍 so easy and so tasty. The whole crew was happy this morning
