So, you know how you give your kid a cupcake for their birthday or a special occasion and the first thing they eat is the frosting?!

I present to you a cake that’s frosting! What?! Yes!

No, it’s not fondant. It’s BUTTERCREAM! And of course, there’s still cake inside, just under more frosting and some delicious sprinkles that I made look like moss. I taste tested the buttercream - it’s so delicious and not at all too sweet. My daughter also can’t get enough of sneaking pieces of buttercream roses and petals when she thinks I’m not looking 🤣

Hello molded marshmallows!

They’re so soft and pillowy, like a delicious puffy snack! They’re truly something special.

Pink is: Cherry Blossom flavor
Orange is: Peach flavor

Added some edible marker for extra details on the TARDIS, Mandalorian helmet, dalek and Mario “?” Block. I really liked the shiny look of the mando helmet! I’ll definitely do that again for the gold effect on these cuties in the future ✨

I don’t do many in the process shots so I figured I’d do one today! First set is my strawberry and peach poke cupcakes, with their strawberry frosting atop their lovely selves.

Process as explained below:

I baked the strawberry cupcakes first, let them cool down completely before poking the ever living life out of them, then lovingly poured peach jello over their carcasses, as if I was in a roleplay game, the jello-flavored “Phoenix Down” seemed to revive them; and they sat overnight to ruminate over their fate.

I smothered them in strawberry frosting, their sweet aroma filling the kitchen. That had to sit for awhile to set, they probably ruminated more. Then the strawberry sliced decor came out and they underwent another procedure. They felt a lot prettier! Peach sprinkles and edible glitter were added as a finishing touch and they’re just stunning 🤩

They really taste as great as they look too 💖 I love peach and strawberries together just the best flavor combo ever!

It’s almost cherry pickin’ time here!

I was curious what variety I gave growing in my rental yard, and from some research, it maybe sour cherries! Which are great in pies, sauces and pickled, YUM! I’m literally salivating at the thought of these delicious babies and what awesomeness I’m going to make with them~🍒

What’s your favorite cherry? Mine’s Rainier, so juicy and sweet 🤤
