What a weekend!
First, thank you to everyone who came out and supported us. We are incredibly grateful for this community and the encouragement you’ve shown McCain’s since day one.
Coffee & Cars got dealt another rainy first Saturday. While the weather kept some vehicles at home, we’re still committed to growing this event into something fun that brings people together. We’ve worked hard to build a great group of participants and create a welcoming community event, and we’re excited to keep building on that momentum throughout the year.
We also experienced a few growing pains with our new grill this weekend. Due to a delayed delivery, we weren’t able to fully season and temper it before service. As a result, some ticket times were longer than our standards, and that’s disappointing to us because we know the experience our guests deserve.
The good news is that the grill is now settling in nicely, our team has learned a lot, and we’re already seeing improvements.
We’ve been hard at work lately, both in front of the house and behind the scenes. Some changes are obvious. Others are things you may never notice. Every decision is made with the goal of serving our guests better and continuing to make McCain’s a place our community loves to gather.
And one more exciting update: we’re now OPEN ON MONDAYS!
Thank you for your patience, your support, and your belief in what we’re building here. We have some exciting things planned for the months ahead, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
