OKAY, Y’ALL… THIS WEEKEND’S MENU IS OUT OF CONTROL.

We’ve got DOLLY.
We’ve got PUMPKIN SPICE.
We’ve got PINK CADILLACS.
We’ve got GERMAN CHOCOLATE.
We’ve got BACON.
We’ve got ALMOND CROISSANTS.
We’ve got PUMPKIN HAND PIES.

At this point, you’re not coming to the bakery. You’re coming to make questionable financial decisions.
THE DOLLY — our pink, sparkly, fabulous cupcake tribute to the queen herself. And yes, she knows she’s the main character. (Proceeds from this cupcake will be donated- see prior posts!)
PINK CADILLAC FRAPPE — because regular coffee is fine, but we have standards.

PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE — It’s September. We’re legally allowed to be obnoxious about pumpkin now.
CARAMEL APPLE LATTE — because apparently we’ve decided fall is happening whether Florida agrees or not.

🍫 German Chocolate — Grandpa’s favorite and since it’s his birthday week, we always make sure to bake it in his honor.

And we’ve got LOTS of Pop-Tarts and pastries because one should never have to choose just one baked good. That’s simply unreasonable.

So basically…
Dolly said “pour yourself some coffee.”
Fall said “add pumpkin.”
Grandpa said “make German chocolate.”
And Cake Affection said, “FINE. WE’LL MAKE EVERYTHING.”

Come hungry. Leave happy.
And don’t blame us when you walk out carrying a box of things you absolutely did not come in for.

Pink Strawberry cake, fresh strawberry compote filling pretty frosting, sparkle, and a little Dolly magic on top — because around here, we believe a cupcake should be fabulous enough to have its own wardrobe.

WELL, BUTTER MY BISCUIT… IT’S ALMOST THE WEEKEND.

We’re mixing things up this weekend at the bakery! 💕 We’ve got our NEW FALL MENU rolling in with all the cozy flavors you’ve been waiting for… 🎃

BUT we’re also tipping our pink cowgirl hats to Dolly, and the kindness she always spreads

Expect a little pumpkin spice, a little Dolly sparkle, a whole lot of cupcakes, and plenty of sweetness and sparkle.

Our new! fall drink menu launched last week: Caramel Apple, Apple Pie, Pumpkin Spice Latte, and “The Pink Cadillac” - a pink Strawberry iced or frappe drink- with or without shots of espresso, topped with pink sanding sugar and sparkle.

With the sad news of an icon unlike any other, we would like to do something in her honor. After much thought and consideration, we have decided that we will be offering a limited edition cupcake starting this weekend.

🦋 THE DOLLY ✨
A cupcake celebrating a life of music, kindness & books.

A Strawberry brown butter vanilla cake, filled with a fresh, handmade strawberry compote and topped with cream cheese frosting, pink sprinkles, plenty of sparkle & finished with a tiny book and butterfly.

For every Dolly cupcake sold, Cake Affection will donate proceeds to both Ready to Read Pinellas and Metropolitan Ministries for their Christmas gifting program. 📚

After all, honoring a lifetime of kindness is the least we can do.💔

Ok, it’s time to find these two fellas their fuuuurever homes!
These were rescues my daughter took in after all shelters were full.
They were fixed and had first shots and microchipped on Thursday. Yay!
Both are happy, rambunctious kittens. They do well around other cats, love to snuggle up next to you, but on their own terms.
We have not had them around our dogs.
