Need a cake or cupcakes for a birthday, celebration, or just because? Contact us!

These are some of our recent treats.
The first picture is of a cake fit for a princess. The birthday princess requested a marble cake with white frosting and purple polka dots with a princess or castle theme so we had to deliver with a crown and edible gold glitter spray.
The second picture is of an order of half vanilla and half chocolate cupcakes with coquette bows.
The third picture is a Chocolate Hazelnut Cake made with Nutella; a rich chocolate cake and buttercream, both with Nutella, topped with homemade chocolate fudge sauce. You can order any of these or your own custom treat from Helen & Ava's. Contact us via social media or email ([email protected]).

Happy Superbowl!

I don't know about you, but we're all about the food during these types of celebrations. These pictures of Decorated Frosted Fudge Brownies and Chocolate Sugar Cookies are examples of the types of treats you can order from us for your own celebrations. It's been a while! I admit I have been a bit busy trying to get a website together so you all can see the different treats we offer all in one place.

In the meantime, I have still been baking! After being inspired by Benty Cakes' Cake Pucks I decided to experiment with leftover cake and my chocolate cookie molds to make these cake bites. I have made a couple different versions over the last few months; chocolate, vanilla, banana, Snickers. My technique has improved each time (Snickers is the newest one).

People love that they are bite sized but kind of fancy and I love that they are easier to make than cake pops. They are perfect for parties and gatherings where you don't want to cut a cake or deal with cupcakes. And they are the perfect size to eat just one and feel like you've had a nice dessert. I think I'm going to replace cake pops with these on our menu offerings.

I am brainstorming different flavors as well. Easter is coming up so maybe carrot cake? Or mint chocolate for St Patrick's Day?

With the fall 🍂 temperatures in the air it feels like a is in order to been reminisce about some of the treats made when it was warmer.

1) Shortbread tea cookies in chai, matcha, & Earl Gray for a baby shower
2) Coconut cream pie cups for a picnic
3) Boozy Cuban Breeze inspired cake for an adult birthday party
4) Churros for Cinco de Mayo
5) Monster Truck for a birthday party
6) Cream puffs for a wedding that I filled live with chocolate, vanilla, and lemon fillings (didn't get a better photo)
7) Watermelon cakes for a 1 year olds birthday party

Other treats from the late Spring/Summer that aren't pictured include chocolate truffles and cream cheese balls for a wedding, chicken & waffles and beignets for a bridal shower, and a 3-cookie pie.

Excited to see what treats the cooler weather will inspire!
