My favorite summertime activity: hitting up the local farmers markets. Locally sourced food, small business vendors. Shopping small and local is a priority for me.

These veggies for a farmers market themed bridal shower were SO fun to make.

Fun fact: this is the only kind of mushroom you’ll ever catch me eating 😂

One of my very first ever orders was a woodland animal theme. Fast forward 6 years and I got the opportunity to create them all over again!

Fun fact: because these were some of my first creations when I launched Steele’s Cookies I incorporated them into my logo packaging.

It’s the first day of spring today and it has been a WILD week of weather here in Minnesota 🤪

I’m looking forward to green trees and flowers blooming soon! And I am VERY much looking forward to 70 degrees tomorrow, especially after the foot of snow Mother Nature sent us last weekend. I hope you’re able to get out and enjoy the warmth and sunshine ☀️

It’s o-fish-ally Friday! I had the honor of making these fly fishing themed cookies for my nephew and his wife’s baby shower. There’s going to be a new baby girl in our family to snuggle VERY soon 🩷💕

In honor of ringing in 2026 and hitting a certain age milestone next year (even though the math doesn’t math - I’m only 29 😝) I figure it’s pretty fitting to share this 80s theme I made a couple months back.

Guess what?! (Read below!!)

I had the opportunity to make cookies for another Best Buy commercial this year! Rumor has it, it appeared on social media and/or YouTube this holiday season. I wasn’t able to catch it in the wild, but I saw a sneak peak!

The commercial plot line was an influencer filming step by step how to decorate cookies for the holidays. So I created fully decorated and partially decorated cookies for the shoot.

Hey 🍪 friends! LOOK WHAT CAME IN THE MAIL!!

I thought I’d use the opportunity to show my face and reintroduce myself to my new followers ⬇️⬇️

I’m Sarah, the face behind Steele’s Cookies and as of August 2025 - a MN State Fair ribbon winner for decorated sugar cookies 😎

I am a paralegal by day. When I’m not working or creating custom cookies you can find me sleeping (kidding! …mostly lol).

You can actually find me Auntie-ing to my favorite littles and not so littles (time is a thief!), walking my neighborhood saying hello to all the doggos, spending time with friends/family, or traveling.

Thank you all for following my cookie account!
I stepped away from social media this year to allow more time for the things above but I am working on changing that.

So stay tuned - I may have been quiet on here, but I have been busy in my kitchen and I have LOTS of cookies to share with you all!!
