Review continued:..” I picked up a dozen GF donuts and a half-dozen chocolate chip cookies, and both were fantastic. They offer a ton of different donut flavors, though the ordering system limits you to choosing three varieties per dozen. I went with the banana bread, chocolate with chocolate icing and the brown sugar with chocolate icing, and they did not disappoint. The cookies were just as impressive, hitting that perfect.”

”¡Provecho!” 🤎

One of my favorite Spanish words I’ve learned is ”¡Provecho!”

While it literally means “enjoy your meal,” it’s so much more than that. It’s a wish that your food brings you comfort, nourishment, joy, and a moment to simply slow down and enjoy.

That’s exactly what we hope every time we hand you a gluten free donut, a breakfast burrito, or recommend one of our sandwiches on our homemade cheddar jalapeño bread.

We don’t recommend our homemade bread because it costs a little more. We recommend it because it’s made from scratch, with love, and because it’s part of the experience that makes Brown Butter… Brown Butter.

We hope every visit leaves more than a full stomach. We hope it leaves you with a happy heart, a beautiful memory, and a reason to come back.

There’s another Spanish phrase I love that hangs in our café:

“Panza llena, corazón contento.”
A full belly, a happy heart.

That’s always been our goal.
