Even bread needs a rest.

This is my sourdough during preshape rest — a small pause that makes a big difference for shaping. It made me reflect on how often God calls us to rest, reset, and trust Him in the waiting.

From the God of the heavens and the earth to the bread we give thanks for, rest is essential. When I allowed the gluten to rest, the dough became easier to work with and stronger in the end.

Sometimes rest isn’t stopping, it’s trusting the process God designed. 🤍🍞
