The Saginaw Foundation for Hope and the crew from Hudson's Grocery continue their support of the hurricane relief workers on the island of Boca Grande.

ISLAND WORKERS: Thanks to the Saginaw Foundation for Hope, Hudson's Grocery staff led by Howard and Emily Wise are providing free hot dogs and burgers for island workers who are helping with recovery efforts. A bit about the foundation:

"The Saginaw Foundation for Hope is a non-profit organization whose mission is to assist people and communities impacted by natural disasters and during times of need. Our goal is to be there when disaster strikes to help with supplies, donations, and rebuilding efforts to those affected. We are proudly registered as a 501(c)3 charity, which allows all donations to the foundation to be tax deductible.

"The Saginaw family has always been involved in charitable work and are proud to begin this endeavor to help our neighbors, whether near or far. To help make the most impact possible, we also support other well-known non-profit organizations in our community."

"As none of us can predict when natural disasters will occur, the Foundation will be stocking supplies and accepting donations year-round so that we are ready to respond quickly when needs arise."

While so many of us are heading to beaches, lakes, or the mountains for a long weekend, or simply getting ready for a backyard barbeque with friends and family, others are remembering loved ones who were lost while defending our freedom.

Thank you to all the service men and women, and to all the first responders, who served and continue to serve! May we never forget those heroes who paid the ultimate price so that we may enjoy the amazing opportunities this great country affords us.

Happy Memorial Day! Stay safe!

So here we go! The winners of the Thirteenth Day of Christmas are Zach Cook Montano (TV) and Joseph Herman ($100)!
