Day 4 is here, and we’re celebrating with a classic holiday favorite—Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies! ❤️✨ Soft, chewy, and bursting with cocoa flavor, these cookies are as beautiful as they are delicious.
Here’s the recipe:
👉 Ingredients:
Cookies:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon professional red food coloring*
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Coating:
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup powdered sugar
👉 Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla and red food coloring. Mix well.
3️⃣ Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until combined.
4️⃣ Roll dough into 1-ounce balls. Coat first in granulated sugar, then in powdered sugar for the perfect crinkle look.
5️⃣ Place on prepared baking sheet, spaced 1 inch apart. Bake for 12 minutes until puffed, cracked, and slightly gooey in the cente
