Happy Friday, friends! 🐇

One of the sweetest parts of this job isn't just creating cookies for life's biggest moments—it's getting to be a tiny part of a family's story.

I made these "Somebunny Special is on the Way" baby shower cookies last year, and this week I was asked to create cookies for that same little bunny's 1st birthday. 🥹

There is something so special about watching these babies grow through the celebrations I get to help commemorate. From baby showers to birthdays, it means more than I can put into words when families come back year after year and make my cookies part of their traditions.

To all of my returning customers: thank you for trusting me with your milestones, your memories, and your celebrations. Your support has turned a little baking dream into something so much bigger, and I'm grateful for every order, every message, and every family I've had the privilege to create for. 💗

🎓⚖️ Sacramento graduation season was in full swing last week, and I had the honor of creating these cookies for And as he celebrated an incredible achievement—earning his Master of Public Administration from McGeorge School of Law!

I always love graduation sets because each one tells a different story. This set was inspired by McGeorge's signature colors and included diplomas, graduation caps, academic regalia, and custom logo cookies to celebrate all the hard work, late nights, and determination that led to this moment.

🌸 Baby in Bloom has to be one of the most popular spring baby shower themes—and honestly, I can see why. I think this is the sixth Baby in Bloom set I've made in the last couple of months, and I'm still not tired of it.

What I love most is that no two sets are ever the same. Each customer brings their own vision, whether it's through the colors, florals, or little design details, which keeps the theme feeling fresh every time.

This set completely stole my heart with its soft pinks, sage greens, lavender accents, and those rich burgundy blooms. And can we talk about burgundy for a second? One of the trickiest icing colors to mix, but so worth it when it comes together just right.

Welcoming a sweet little girl who is already so loved. 🌸💕✨

🎓🌸 Class of 2026 never looked so pretty! 🌸🎓

Last week was packed with graduation orders, and this sweet set was one of my favorites. Aya had a clear vision for her cookies—these exact designs and one special request: all the pink! 💕✨

I love when graduates bring their own personality into a set, and these felt both elegant and feminine while still capturing all the excitement of graduation season.

These cookies were extra special for me. 💛🍎✏️

They were created for Pamela, a retiring 3rd grade teacher, and every detail brought back memories of my own years in the classroom. Before I became The Baking Flutist, I spent 25 years teaching instrumental music in public schools throughout Southern California. I traveled between 10 different schools, teaching strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion to 4th–6th graders, and had the privilege of working with thousands of amazing students along the way.

Teaching is one of those careers that leaves a lasting mark—not just on the students, but on the teachers themselves. So creating these retirement cookies felt a little like celebrating a fellow member of a very special club.

Congratulations, Pamela, on a career filled with learning, laughter, patience, and countless lives touched. Wishing you endless mornings without alarm clocks, adventures without lesson plans, and all the joy this next chapter has to offer. ❤️📚🍎

“A tini bit closer…” 🍸✨

I had SO much fun creating this bridal shower set for the future Mrs. Clinger! The bride-to-be was serving THREE different martinis at her shower — dirty martinis, espresso martinis, and lemon drops — so I knew I wanted to lean all the way into the theme. 🍋☕🫒

From the tiny garnishes and bows to the little martini cart and calendar cookies, this set was such a fun mix of classy, playful, and girly. And honestly… now I kind of want a martini bar at every bridal shower. 😂💍

Soft, romantic, timeless… this wedding set was such a dream to bring to life. 🤍✨

The bride envisioned a palette of creamy neutrals and soft taupes, with delicate little florals inspired by her bouquet woven throughout the designs.
