Welcome to the Golden Empire Elementary PTO page! The PTO is a very important part of the Golden Empire School community. We have fun and work hard raising the funds necessary to support our teachers and enrich the academic experience for our children. It is our belief that all families are part of the PTO. You can support the school by attending and supporting our numerous family-oriented events, such as the Ice Cream Social, Back to School Night, Rosemont Homecoming Parade, Scholastic Book Fairs, Family Nights, Trimester Awards Assemblies, Hand-Made Holiday Night, Pancake Breakfast & Silent Auction, Family Movie Night, and Leadership Showcase. We also engage in fundraising to support our efforts, including the PTO Sponsorship Drive, Bake Sales, Chipotle Nights, Box Tops for Education, Amazon Smile, and the Jog-A-Thon. Through community building and fundraising efforts, the PTO helps to support teachers and staff to have the best resources available to our students. The PTO provides a Welcome Back Treat for the teachers and staff, Classroom Enrichment and Field Trip Funds, and a Staff Appreciation Celebration. In addition, we raise funds to support the school band, school library, Garden Club, 6th Grade Trip to Sly Park, classroom supplies, student assemblies, the Leader in Me program, CAASPP testing snacks, school spirit tags, brag tags, Scholastic News, and school folders. You can participate and help make Golden Empire shine! Ask a friend or fellow parent to get involved with you. Make it fun by doing it together. We are flexible and can work around your schedule. Any amount of time that you have to give is appreciated and welcomed. Thank you in advance for helping to create the best learning environment and community for our children.
