HOW TO COOK CORN ON THE COB IN AIR FRYER 🌽🌽🌽

•Use fresh 🌽 . The results are better when the corn is fresh!

•Cut the corn ends to fit your air fryer basket. Or cut them in half for smaller air fryer sizes. 🔪

•Spray with olive oil spray and season with salt and pepper. If you add butter first, it might burn. 🧂

•So it’s better to add butter later when you eat it.

•Timing will vary depending on the power and size of your air fryer.

(After your first batch, you’ll know what timing works best for your preferred texture and power of air fryer!)

Learn how to reheat tamales so that they taste fresh even if they were frozen. Did your homemade tamales lose flavor or that soft texture after reheating them?.. don’t worry! I have you covered!

In the air fryer: Leave the tamales in their husk. Warm up your air fryer and then place the tamales in the air fryer basket. Cook them for five to eight minutes.

If you want them more crispy, which honestly.. I’ve learned to love. I take the tamales out of the husks. And cook them for an additional 3-5 minutes. And they are soooo delicious!

AIR FRIED BROCCOLI BITES

🤤🤤 Ummm... can you say YUM!!!! 🤤🤤

Let’s start with this.. These are a perfect snack, lunch or appetizer. The recipe makes about 20 bites but they are just 1 point each so you can have as few or as many as you like. The first step in making these is to thaw out the frozen broccoli then let it drain well in a sieve for at least 30 minutes. Once it’s drained and dry, it should be finely chopped in a food processor along with a bit of onion. When mixed with the other ingredients, it will need to be placed in the refrigerator for at least an hour to firm up a bit. I like to hang it over a bowl in a sieve during this phase as well because I want to ensure that all of the water has been drained.

PREP TIME

TOTAL TIME
2 hours 15 min

INGREDIENTS

•10 oz frozen broccoli florets, thawed, drained, and dried
•1⁄2 cup onion, finely diced
•2 eggs, beaten
•2 slice crisp cooked bacon, cut into small bits
•1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
•1 cup finely shredded Colby and Monterey Jack cheese
•1⁄4 cup Italian style bread crumbs (more or less as needed)

*Honey Mustard Dressing(optional)*
•1⁄4 cup fat-free plain yogurt
•1 Tbsp + 1 tsp Dijon mustard
•1 Tbsp + 1 tsp honey
•1 tsp lemon juice

DIRECTIONS

Place thawed, drained, and dried broccoli florets into a food processor and add the chopped onions. Pulse until everything is chopped up finely.

Beat together eggs in a medium mixing bowl with a whisk. Add in all other ingredients except the breadcrumbs. Mix with a spatula until thoroughly combined.

Place in the refrigerator to bind the mixture for at least an hour.

Scoop out a bit more than 1 tablespoon (this is where the baking scoop comes in handy) of the mixture and form a ball.

Roll the balls in the breadcrumbs, coating them well.Place balls on a tray and freeze for at least an hour.

Heat the Air Fryer to 400 degrees for just a few minutes. Place the bites in one layer in the basket and fry at 400 for 15 minutes. (If you've decided to make the dressing, you can do that while the bites cook).

Serve right away.

Honey Mustard Dressing (optional):

In a small mixing bowl, combine all ingredients with a whisk until smooth and well combined.

ENJOY 😊

I can ALWAYS go for a dozen! 🤩

*Tips and Tricks to make the BEST Homemade Churros*

This recipe makes about 35 4-inch long churros.
It is ok if a few little lumps of flour remain after adding the flour to the saucepan.

Depending on the size of your piping bags you might have to divide the dough into batches.
Use a star-shaped tip to get the perfect shapes.
I use a Wilton 1M tip.
If you don’t have piping bags or tips you could also use a ziplock or freezer bag.

**Refrigerating the piped churros makes them easier to handle and they will keep their shape better while air frying. Don’t refrigerate the piped churros longer than 1 hour or they will dry out. **

If you have leftover dough you can store it wrapped in plastic wrap overnight. Let it come to room temperature before piping it into shapes, it is very difficult to pipe the cold dough.

Depending on you Air Fryer you might have to bake the churros in batches. They will increase in size a little bit while baking so leave some room between them.

***Immediately transfer the baked churros to the cinnamon sugar mixture. This makes the sugar mixture stick better to them.

Churros taste best served warm. They don’t keep well. I don’t recommend freezing the baked churros.

Serve with warmed up Nutella, Chocolate Sauce (churros con chocolate), Caramel Sauce, or Whipped Cream. My favorite is the caramel sauce!

INGREDIENTS:

▢ 1 cup water
▢ 1/3 cup unsalted butter, cut into cubes
▢ 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
▢ 1/4 tsp salt
▢ 1 cup all-purpose flour
▢ 2 large eggs
▢ 1 tsp vanilla extract
▢ oil spray
CINNAMON-SUGAR COATING:

▢ 1/2 cup granulated sugar
▢ 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Put a silicone baking mat on a baking sheet and spray with oil spray.

2. In a medium saucepan add water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
3. Reduce heat to medium-low and add flour to the saucepan. Stirring constantly with a rubber spatula cook until the dough comes together and is smooth.
4. Remove from heat and transfer the dough to a mixing bowl. Let cool for 4 minutes.
5. Add eggs and vanilla extract to the mixing bowl and mix using an electric hand mixer or stand mixer until dough comes together. The mixture will look like gluey mashed potatoes. Use your hands to press lumps together into a ball and transfer to a large piping bag fitted with a large star-shaped tip.
6. Pipe churros onto the greased baking mat, into 4-inch lengths and cut end with scissors.
7. Refrigerate piped churros on the baking sheet for 1 hour.
8. Carefully transfer churros with a cookie spatula to the Air Fryer basket, leaving about 1/2-inch space between churros. Spray churros with oil spray. Depending on the size of your Air Fryer you have to fry them in batches.
9. Air fry at 375 degrees F for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
10. In a shallow bowl combine granulated sugar and cinnamon.
11. Immediately transfer baked churros to the bowl with the sugar mixture and toss to coat. Working in batches. Serve warm with Nutella or chocolate dipping sauce.

AIR FRYER 2 INGREDIENT PARMESAN ZUCCHINI CRISPS

servings: 2
prep time: 10 MINUTES
cook time: 12 MINUTES
course: SNACK/SIDE DISH

INGREDIENTS

1 medium zucchini sliced into ¼ inch thick rounds
½ cup grated parmesan cheese freshly grated

INSTRUCTIONS

Zucchinis should be thinly sliced and then covered in a thin layer of freshly grated Parmesan cheese. I chose to slice my zucchini to 1/4 inch thick rounds. I found that this left the zuchini only partially dehydrated but the cooked zucchini had a super creamy, buttery finish which provided a great contrast to the crispy cheese.

If you prefer even crispier crisps with no soft creamy zucchini center, slice your zucchini to 1/8 inch thick rounds. You can use a mandoline slicer for easy slicing.

Place zucchini rounds into your air fryer in a single layer. (If your air fryer basket is nonstick you don't need to grease the basket first. If it is not nonstick, you should spray basket with cooking oil spray.) Add a thin layer of parmesan cheese over rounds, covering the surface of each round.

Set your air fryer to 370°F. Cook rounds for about 12 minutes, or until the cheese is dark golden brown. Let the rounds cool for a few minutes, which will allow the cheese to crisp up further.

Serve with your favorite dipping sauce. Crisps are best eaten soon after they are fried. Because of the moisture in the zucchini, the crispy top will soften when fully cooled. If you are making a large batch, you can always re-crisp them again in the air fryer.

ENJOY! ☺️

One can of biscuits, endless possibilities. These biscuit bombs get the air fryer treatment resulting in flaky, fluffy breakfast sandwiches that are loaded with sausage, egg and cheese.

Ingredients

Biscuit Bombs

1
tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4
lb bulk breakfast sausage
2
eggs, beaten
1/8
teaspoon salt
1/8
teaspoon pepper
1
can (10.2 oz) Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Layers refrigerated biscuits (5 biscuits)
2
oz sharp Cheddar cheese, cut in ten 1/2-inch cubes
Egg Wash

1
egg
1
tablespoon water

Steps

1. Cut two 8-inch rounds of cooking parchment paper. Place one round in bottom of air fryer basket. Spray with cooking spray.
2. In 10-inch nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook sausage in oil 2 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to crumble, until no longer pink; using slotted spoon, transfer to medium bowl. Reduce heat to medium. Add beaten eggs, salt and pepper to drippings in skillet; cook until eggs are thickened but still moist, stirring frequently. Stir eggs into sausage in bowl. Cool 5 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, separate dough into 5 biscuits; separate each biscuit into 2 layers. Press each into 4-inch round. Spoon 1 heaping tablespoonful egg mixture onto center of each round. Top with one piece of the cheese. Gently fold edges up and over filling; pinch to seal. In small bowl, beat remaining egg and water. Brush biscuits on all sides with egg wash.
4. Place 5 of the biscuit bombs, seam sides down, on parchment in air fryer basket. Spray both sides of second parchment round with cooking spray. Top biscuit bombs in basket with second parchment round, then top with remaining 5 biscuit bombs.
5. Set to 325°F; cook 8 minutes. Remove top parchment round; using tongs, carefully turn biscuits, and place in basket in single layer. Cook 4 to 6 minutes longer or until cooked through (at least 165°F).

EXTRA TIPS:

Air fryer temperature control settings vary according to brand and model. If your air fryer does not have the exact temperature setting called for in the recipe, consult your manual for suggested temperature settings.
Don’t skip the cooking parchment paper! Separating the bombs with parchment prevents them from sticking together.
Be sure to let sausage mixture cool for a few minutes before filling the bombs. This makes the dough easier to work with.
Our recipes do not call for preheating your air fryer. Just set the temperature, and start. Never preheat with parchment paper alone.

ENJOY!!!!
