And I’ve always known that somehow, someday, I would find my calling in the food world. For obvious reasons, I felt most comfortable around food; it’s what I grew up loving. But I never imagined that this love would lead to an opportunity to open my own bakery. Growing up in the family of good cooks, I cultivated love for cooking from younger age. Born and brought up in Mumbai, India, I always had
passion for cooking. After coming to New York, although I was working in fashion industry, I was always dreaming about making my career in food industry. While working, I took few courses from prestigious Institute of Culinary Education to satisfy my inner passion. My passion for cooking, specially baking, grew so strong that I went to Institute of Culinary Education to earn the degree of pastry chef. To follow my dream, I took a bold decision to give up the well-settled job in fashion industry. Madeleine Bakery is created by owner / Pastry Chef Zueen Bhosle. We work hard here in our kitchen to bring unique creative energy; and love for bringing people happiness through great food.
