✨ Bakery Assistant Manager / Baker
Availability: Tuesdays - Saturdays ;
$14-16 / hour, based on experience
We’re growing our team and looking for a motivated, dependable individual who brings both leadership skills and hands-on commercial baking experience to the table!
🥐 WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Assist the Bakery General Manager with daily operations and team leadership.
- Bake and prepare products, including breakfast pastries, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and other bakery items.
- Help manage daily production needs and ensure products are fresh, consistent, and ready for the case on time.
- Train and support team members in both baking and front-of-house procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and help maintain a welcoming bakery environment.
- Assist with inventory, product rotation, food safety, cleanliness, and opening or closing duties.
- Help maintain quality standards and keep daily operations running efficiently.
🌟 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Previous commercial baking experience is not required, but a plus!
- Leadership experience and the ability to take initiative.
- Strong communication, organization, and training skills.
- A positive attitude 😊, professional demeanor, and customer-focused mindset.
- Someone dependable & trustworthy
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Full availability Tuesday–Saturday during bakery operating hours, with flexibility for scheduled shifts and business needs.
- Reliable transportation.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- A genuine appreciation for scratch-made baked goods, breads, breakfast pastries, cookies 🥐🍪
