When I say I had so much fun with this cake, I truly did! I love when given a theme and get to have at it with design! This was for a precious customer who loves designer purses, perfume and is celebrating year 50…which, by the way, looks fabulous and I would never guess she’s 50! The base of the cake is a LV inspired bag. I printed the pattern onto a frosting sheet with my edible printer and placed it over the buttercream. The purse details are made by hand with fondant. I found the empty perfume bottle on Amazon. I knew I’d never be able to recreate that classic Valentino perfume bottle shape/texture, hence deciding to go with this one. I printed the logo, added some bling around it and the ‘perfume’ inside is water tinted with food coloring. I told momma in hindsight…how fun would it be to add a flavored drizzle for your cake slice in the bottle for an interactive experience with the cake. 🤔 I also hand painted the gold that’s on the cake. I had too much fun with this one!
