I've been laying low since Christmas in an attempt to SLOW DOWN and get back into a normal sleep routine. My attempts were unsuccessful and I love each of you for it! I LOVE that you love my cookies!
I truly love decorating cookies. I love getting to push myself creatively to figure out the complicated designs, and I love getting to make people happy by helping them celebrate all the special moments in life.

What I don't love is missing out on nights and weekends with my family. My babies are growing up on me and I feel like I'm watching from a distance. They're only little for such a little while. For this reason, I've decided to take a step back from the cookie world.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all your support over the last year. I never expected to be as successful or busy as I was able to be, especially so quickly, and that never would have happened without each of you. Every like, every share, every comment, every order-- your support has been an encouragement and regularly makes my day.

I hope you'll keep following along with the Meggie B's page as I plan to still offer holiday specials and random pop-ups after I've had a chance to catch my breath.

I'm sharing some of my favorite orders since January to keep here in my cookie portfolio. I mean, I got to do Phantom of the Opera and Beetlejuice! So cool!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
After pushing through my largest order to date, I have two things to share:

1. If you see my momma, tell her how amazing she is. She's the only reason I've been able to finish all these Christmas orders in the middle of moving houses. From prepping dough all the way to packaging orders, she was there and happy to help with it all! Thank you Donna Eye-Simpson!
(Even my dad got in on the packaging at midnight last night. I'm so spoiled.)

2. The love and support you guys continue to cover me with is unreal. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! ❤❤

With that, I'm booked on customs orders through February. I'll be back with some Valentine's Day specials in mid-January.

Preparing for a late night of decorating while wearing the most thoughtful gift ever-- can you believe my yearbook students at school surprised me with this adorable apron? They even remembered one of my favorite fonts when they designed the logo. I still don't really know how to put my appreciation into words. I'm blown away!

To say I was excited to help Dr. Vaughn celebrate the release of his first novella, "The Ethereal Transit Society" is an understatement. His dry sense of humor and my time spent with the debate team are some of my favorite college memories.
