Pitstop on the way to work this morning. I will be popular at school today, arriving with treats from Mike's Donut Shop in Mission Hill. Like so many small businesses in Boston, Mike's has been working overtime to keep their customers and employees safe. It isn't easy, and the added costs for operating in "pandemic mode" may never be recovered. Small business owners in our neighborhoods are motivated by hope for a brighter future and determination to succeed. We should all emulate them, and more importantly, we should support them.

To keep our neighborhood safe, Mike’s Donuts is open for carry-out only and ensuring our operation is maintaining safe and sanitized conditions. We are offering our full menu, seven days a week, from 5 AM to 2 PM. Our Forest Hills T Stop location is also open to ensure our friends still commuting to essential jobs can get a hot cup of coffee or handmade pastry. Forest Hills is open 5 AM to 5 PM. We hope everyone is staying safe and look forward to fully reopening once we are able to.
