The bakery is finally finished and I'm finally at a place in my life I can re-open!!!! So I'm having a grand opening this coming Friday and Saturday.

Things around here have been a little crazy to say the least. I thought my new place would be done months ago but everything is taking a sooooo much longer than I had planned. Than right at a month ago my husband had to go under the first surgery for his knee (removing all the metal from his knee surgery 7 years ago ) after getting him home the surgeon informed us that the knee was infected and start on antibiotics. Well it keep getting worse till he lained in the ER. They admitted him into the hospital and put him into icu ward. His had to have another surgery on his knee due to the infection since his been in the hospital. So I'm asking prays for him and the Dr's/ surgeon that's dealing with him and his up coming 2 more surgeries.
Hopefully things will go back to normal soon.

A couple weeks back my dad got remarried to nice lady named JoAnna. They asked me to be a part of their big day by baking and decorating their wedding cake. I made my dad's favorite cake ( JoAnna said she liked that flavor also) hummingbird cake with cream cheese flavored buttercream icing. JoAnna (bride) provide real flowers for me to add to the cake once I arrive at their venue 2 and half hours north in VA.
I hope I was able to give my dad and his new bride something they both can look back on and smile thinking about their cake for their day.

My one daughter Octavia was a flower girl at their small wedding she was so cute in her white dress and flower crown. I forgot to take a lot of photos because it was raining and I put my phone away so it would not get wet..

I know I have been quiet on my page for awhile but I really needed a break and focuse on my health and also try to get my bakery finished. Hopefully in the next couple months my new bakery will be finished finally 🤞if construction continues to go as it is going and as planned and I will be back in business...

Merry Christmas eve eve everyone on my page.
I know I have been very quiet this month of Dec, but midway through Thanksgiving week of baking I realized I need a break from baking and spend some time with my little babies (I have 3 little ones under the age of 6). It has been really hard for me to step away from my bakery. But I know I need to put my children first and also my health. Thanks to all the people that contacted me this month asking for cakes or bake goods, but understood when I replied I'm not taking orders right now.
Dec is normally a very busy month for me in the bakery but my kids needed me, and I'm very thankful I did this. I am hoping to be back to taking orders soon. But I don't have a for sure date yet. Due to my husband coming home 2 days ago from work with his hand badly swollen and went to the urgent care to find out he still has a foreign object with a bad infection in his hand from his work accident this past summer so now is being sent to a hand specialist surgeon to have surgery. So when we know when his surgery is and how long his out of commission maybe I can give a date when I will be back. 😊😉

I can't thank my customers enough for all your orders this week. Being a one woman show, this week was a little wild. But I'm so so so blessed by y'all... Thanks to everyone that ordered from me, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends.
