A meaningful milestone for Wimberley ISD and the future of student spaces across the district.

We were honored to celebrate the groundbreaking of multiple Wimberley ISD projects alongside Wimberley ISD, O’Connell Robertson, AG|CM, Bartlett Cocke, and the many partners helping bring these improvements to life. From additions at Wimberley High School to new gathering, activity, and performance spaces at Danforth Junior High, these projects represent a continued investment in student experience, campus connectivity, and the future of the community.

We’re grateful to play a role in shaping environments that will serve Wimberley students and families for years to come.

This past week in Georgetown, we joined communities from across Texas for the Texas Downtown Regional Roundtable, sharing ideas, exploring placemaking strategies, and learning from the people shaping vibrant downtown experiences across the state. From development and tourism to arts, culture, and community connection, every conversation reinforced the impact thoughtful design and collaboration can have on our cities.

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and bring fresh inspiration back to the communities we serve.

Leadership in action looks like seeing what a place can be > and following through.

At Kendrick Elementary, every move from concept to community was guided by a simple goal: create spaces where students, teachers, and the community feel connected, supported, and inspired.

From early ideas to built outcomes, this is where vision meets responsibility: shaping environments that will serve not just today, but for years to come.

As we close out World Landscape Architecture Month, we’re reminded that leadership isn’t just about leading projects, it’s about stewarding places that matter.

For World Landscape Architecture Month, we’re reflecting on ‘Action Through Impact’ and our commitment to steward every opportunity to impact a community for better people spaces.

At Legacy Elementary in Uvalde, that impact is deeply felt. Shaped through listening, trust, and collaboration, this campus was designed to support healing, strengthen resilience, and create a sense of safety for students, educators, and families.

From spaces that invite connection to quiet moments of reflection, every detail was created with care for the community it serves.

This is landscape architecture in action: helping communities move forward, together.

Turns out… we’ve always been like this. Same people, just a few more responsibilities (and deadlines).

Action through practice.

It’s the charrettes, the tools, the teaching, and the time spent in the field. The constant refining, learning, and collaborating that turns ideas into built reality.

The work behind the work.

Last week at the Texas ASLA Conference, we had the opportunity to connect, learn, and be inspired among so many in our field.

We’re especially proud to see our own Jonathan Wagner, alongside Principal Clifton Hall and Attorney Josh Sundloff, lead a session on navigating legal exposure in landscape architecture practice. This is an important conversation that reinforces the responsibility and impact of the work we do every day.

As we celebrate World Landscape Architecture Month, this week’s theme, Action Through Practice, is a reminder that our work extends beyond design. It’s reflected in how we lead, share knowledge, and steward the profession forward.
