Help me save lives!
My name is Maricarmen and 13 years ago, on February, I received a phone call filled with sadness. My sister informed me that my mother had suffered a sudden heart attack and passed away. It was a very difficult news for me to process. My mother was on vacation in Canada and I could not be with her during her last moments. My mom Carmen was only 54 years old.
And in 2019, my 1-year-old niece “Vivi”, left us to become a cute little angel, also related to a heart related disease.
This year I am part of a beautiful cause in helping the American heart association, an organization fighting for a noble cause and for that reason I am joining the “Fearless Hearts” a group of awesome women who will unite and contribute to change the lives of many and to Help so many women learn and overcome heart diseases.
The time is now. When we take a stand and work together, real change is possible.
