There really aren't enough words to describe how fulfilling it is to play even a small role in some of life's most special moments. Every time a couple trusts Whisk & Spoon to be part of their wedding day, it's something I never take for granted.

The fact that people choose my little bakery to celebrate such important milestones means more than I can ever fully express. Seeing the joy, love, and memories being made—and knowing I had a small part in that—is one of the greatest gifts of this job. 💕

Good Morning, Friends! ☀️

Sam and I had the opportunity to get all gussied up this weekend for the wedding of some dear friends and enjoy a little getaway with two of our best friends. It has been the perfect weekend to recharge, relax, and fill our cups. Plus, I'd say we clean up pretty nicely! 😉

While we're away enjoying a little time off, the bakery is open and stocked with plenty of yummy treats and goodies this morning!

Whisk & Spoon Fam, I need your help wishing the BIGGEST HAPPY BIRTHDAY to this guy right here — my husband, Sam! 🎉

The guy who definitely did not sign up for a third job as baker’s assistant, dishwasher, delivery driver, and Mr. Fix-It… but somehow got the position anyways and apparently can’t quit now 🤣

This bakery may have started as my dream, but this business is every bit as much his as it is mine. He gives his all to it just like I do, and we’re on this wild ride together. Through every long night, early morning, stressful moment, and exciting win, he has never once shown an ounce of doubt — only support, encouragement, and belief in me.

Good Morning!!

Wow, I have to tell you guys… I seriously have the best customers and followers. Since I posted about my temporary inability to produce pastries for wholesale, you all have absolutely shown up for me. My inbox has been flooding with order requests and opportunities to get my name out there and continue building this business even bigger and better!

I am officially booked solid for the rest of May and most of June, and I truly cannot thank you enough. Thank you for supporting this small business and helping make it even stronger! 💪❤️

As a reminder, Tuesdays and Thursdays are typically our lighter case days at The Blended Kitchen. This is intentional, as these tend to be our slower days and also give us time to work on custom orders and behind-the-scenes business tasks.

So today we do have treats available, but it is NOT a large selection!

We are officially in what I like to call “cake season” 🎂☀️

Last year, I really noticed the huge influx in cake orders this time of year — weddings, graduations, bridal showers, baby showers…all the celebrations start rolling in once the nice weather hits!

Here are just a few cakes we’ve sent out recently, and I have to say…I am LOVING that old-school piping is making a comeback! Vintage cake decorating is hands-down one of my favorite styles to create. Give me all the borders, swags, shells, and cherries 😍✨
