I am merging with the couch this week during a much-needed week off, and while I'm here, I thought I'd throw a little more about the baker your way.

Here are 10 of my favorite things, in no particular order:

1. Seeing my kids smile ❤️
2. Coffee. Endless coffee. ☕
3. Singing and dancing to Broadway musicals while I'm making delicious things in my little kitchen
4. Harry Potter ⚡️
5. Sweater weather
6. Dark green. Always dark green.
7. Clean, unchemical’d food
8. Tacos 🌮
9. My dog, Jade 🐾 and penguins. All the penguins. 🐧
10. Video games — total gamer nerd 🫣

Good morning, Lemont!

I’m all set up at Fall on Canal in Lemont, and it is already BUSY over here!

I brought all the good stuff today, including my NEW Caramel Apple Scones — soft apple scones finished with a generous drizzle of homemade caramel. 🍎

I’ve also got Blueberry Oat Crumble, Peach Oat Crumble, Chocolate Cake, Coffee Cake, Glazed Apple Cake, Soft Pretzels, Cinnamon Rolls, Sticky Buns, and plenty of the usual favorites.

And yes… there are jars of Homemade Caramel too. 🤎

I am pooped, my knees are killing me, and somehow I am still standing here with an absolutely unreasonable mountain of baked goods. 🤣
