Meet my Cookie Team - Katie!
Although you might not see Katie much - she’s always in the back baking away. She’s been with Sweet Liberty since the beginning - back when I was starting out of my house! So, today you get to learn a little more about just how cool she is and how happy I am that she’s a part of the Sweet Liberty Cookies Team.
- Where are you from?? I was born and raised in Hawkins County.
- Favorite way to spend a day?? My perfect day off is spent hiking with my husband and kids.
- You’re the newest member of the Spice Girls… what’s your name? My Spice Girl name would be Tourist Spice - I love to travel! 🧳
- Favorite holiday?? My favorite holiday is Halloween.
- You win the lottery… what do you do?? If I won the lottery, the first thing I would buy is a 2nd home on Beech Mountain.
- Favorite Sweet Liberty Treat?? My favorite thing to eat at Sweet Liberty is the P-Nut cookie, macarons and lemon cheesecake ice cream. Oh, and any flavor of broken cookies 😉

If you've been in recently, you've probably noticed a few new faces around Sweet Liberty. Over the next couple of weeks, I want you to get to know them a little better with some fun facts about themselves.
Tonight we're starting off with ME! Did any surprise you?
- Where are you from?? I was born in Central Pennsylvania and raised in Florida... and still call both my hometown!
- Favorite way to spend a day?? Wake up with no alarm, grab a coffee... stop at TJMaxx, HomeGoods, Hobby Lobby, & At Home. Snack time. Walk the mall and then dinner - I'm all good with shopping and food!
- You're the newest member of the Spice Girls... what's your name?? "I'm Fine, It's FINE" Spice. 🫠
- What's your favorite holiday?? Christmas, but more so the months leading up to it. Or St. Patrick's Day because that's my birthday!
- You win the lottery... what do you buy?? I'd buy a boat!
- Favorite Sweet Liberty treat?? My favorite cookie is a Red Velvet. Or when I make Pumpkin Rolls 🤤

It's time for our first Social! We're hoping to host these monthly activities as a way to bring fun events to our community. I hope you'll join us for the first one on September 26th!

I hope you are doing well. Typically when you message us we are super fast to respond on custom orders. This week I’ve been just a tad busy. If you are looking for an order this week. I wouldn’t be able to get that done for ya. However if you’ve filled out our google form that’s located on our website sweetlibertycookies.com. Go ahead and send all the info. (And this order is not this week) I’m 💯 certain we can get it done. Just please give me a day or two. I just need a little wine, a little foot rub and a second to catch my breath. Love ya so much.

Update on our progress. As yall know this building needed some help. I’m super thankful for a landlord that’s putting so much love and care into bringing her back to life & his choice on these floors has me soooo pumped !! They are so pretty!! I’m obsessed. I don’t have a date to reopen just yet, as you can see we still have some work to do. But know that we are working on exciting projects 🤍🍪

A little secret we’ve been hiding…a new location that we are SOOOO EXCITED FOR!! More news on that later…however with the new place, we will be doing Doughnuts everyday. Today I wanted to test out another flavor —— Crème brûlée —— Filled with a super yummy custard. I only have 2 half dozens of these available ($15) If you want to taste test them too ❤️
