🔥🔥🔥 OMG! I can’t believe I’ve kept a secret this long and is finally coming to light. I’m super excited to announce that we will be competing on Food Network Canada Canada’s larger-than-life baking competition show ! Tune-in to the festively fun holiday-themed episodes Mondays at 11pmET/10pmCT, with my dear friends Amanda Walker from It's a Cakewalk and Alexa Contreras Nuñez from Alexa's Pastries. And myself will be representing Danny’s Cakes and Sweets🔥🔥🔥
The premier of our episode “WRECK THE HALLS” will be aired on Monday, November 13 in the United States at 11pmET/ 10pmCT on 😍🎉
Participating in this contest was quite an experience, working with excellent cake artists was incredible, we had never worked together on a project and we trust each other to contribute our skills to the maximum.
Amanda with her incredible skill in structures and sculpting.
Alexa with impeccable organization and attention to detail.
And the three of us contributing to the maximum our experience in design and complete knowledge of the materials and ingredients we use.
The three of us consider ourselves extremely committed to our work and those who have bought/acquired our cakes will know better, but for this contest we made the faithful decision to go have fun, to create a giant cake as friends and keep a cool head on the elaborate itinerary we were on. (we were timed by the minute, literally).
The production helped a lot, is a beautiful program and is committed to showing beautiful cakes without so much drama which made us quite excited, in the end it is what baking lovers are looking for, a program focused on cake techniques and development.
The challenges were though, the preparation intense, but without a doubt we made an awesome job!
Believe me when I say it was an experience!! A roller coaster of emotions before, during and after 😱😱😱Huge cakes with elements of movement, I repeat an exciting challenge, and the episode will finally be out 😱😱😱
This is a moment I dreamed of when I was a kid, participating in a Food Network competition and I was lucky enough and blessed to be able to experience it!! Definitely a super important moment of my life! 😍🤩
For those who follow us in other countries you will have to wait a little longer 😅 since there are not confirmed dates for our episode, but obviously we will be sharing the information with you as soon as we have it 🤩😍🎉
