LFK Update:
Hi Farmhouse peeps, first of all I want to thank all of you that have sent cards and well wishes and food for our family during the past month. My Mom is finally home and in Hospice care. Keeping her comfortable is my MAIN priority. As my Mom’s caretaker, I’ve had to put my life and business on pause to be her advocate and whatever else she needs during this difficult time and what lies ahead. If you have been the one to be this for a family member, please know I respect and applaud you, the child/caretaker role is difficult, emotional and all consuming. Over the past few days with a great push from my husband and kids, I’ve decided to take a few of my days back and accept the help offered and with that I will be reopening the shop on Saturday and Sunday’s only from 8-Noon doing blues, baked goods, breakfast and coffee. I’m looking forward to doing what I love and having a snippet of normalcy back. Thank you all for your support and patience while we navigate this and as always please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers 🫶🏼

Hi everyone. I know I’ve been quiet over the last few weeks but really appreciate all the love sent to us on behalf of my Mom and wanted to give an update. We thought she was in good hands at a facility but sadly she fell and broke her hip this morning. She is in critical condition and really could use all the love and prayers you can offer up. Thank everyone again for all the love sent. We feel it.

Just an update: thank you to all of you that have popped over to the stand to make sure all is well since we haven’t been open since last Thursday. My Mom was taken into the hospital last Thursday night and is fighting the good fight. Leaving her side has not been an option. We appreciate all the prayers and love and we are bringing all those well wishes and good vibes into her room and making sure she knows. We will keep everyone updated 🩷
