Riverside Bakery & Coffee Shop, LLC Lovingly made by Brenda Coble. So, when the timing was right in 2021 Riverside Canning, Co. was born when I first merged my canning and baking certifications.

Specializing in homemade amazing cakes, cookies, and goodies to candies to old fashioned desserts - just like Grandma used to make - to delightfully delectable desserts for any occasion to custom orders and trendy edibles. My grandparents raised me and we had a large garden, fruit trees, along with a family Christmas tree farm where I learned so much about canning and making a large variety of “ho

memade” baked goods which inspired me to do the same. And named it for my youngest grandson, River, who on most days you can find him “by my side”. Also, I’d begun taking Wilton certification classes in 2007 and my love for baking has continued to grow and grow ever since, as have my specialities. Back in the day, going to town meant you'd better have change to feed the meter, as well. I remember when Carolyn Wilkinson Howard was the meter maid and walked the street all day ticketing cars whose meter had turned red. This is a photo from 1962 showing the meters still on Main Street. The meters were removed in 1965 at the merchants’ request to make shopping less of a hassle….
