Happy Birthday Cha Cha Cha was born out of the desire to bring some much needed joy to the lives of children living in poverty. There are so many wonderful organizations that serve to make their holiday season a bit brighter, but I was not aware of any organization that focused on birthdays. We identify elementary schools In the neighborhoods with the highest levels of poverty And we adapt the K -

2nd grade classrooms. On these children’s birthdays he or she receives two new toys, a book and a 'Cha Cha Cha Bag' full of Basic necessities that includes socks, underwear, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and a few grocery items including Birthday Cake Oreos. We've only just begun and already the support has been wonderful. If you would like to contribute either with items for the bags or cash / gift card donations, send to 79 Long Meadow Circle, Pittsford, NY 14534. As part of the cohorts yearlong capstone project, Leadership Mohawk Valley Class of 2026 will host a FREE Meet & Greet event in support of nonprofit organization, Happy Birthday Cha Cha Cha.

We want to thank The Center for Leadership Excellence at MVCC for connecting HBCCC with the Compassion Coalition. The Coalition is an amazing organization that we will be proud to partner with. We have 238 birthdays to deliver by early June and only seven packs of Birthday Cake Oreos left.

Good news is that Target has them on sale for 2/$8.
