We are just days away from Saturday’s fundraiser, and the donations, gift cards, and beautiful baskets are starting to arrive. Yesterday, it all really hit me, and to be honest, I was completely overwhelmed with emotion.
Looking at the outpouring of love from friends, family, local businesses, and even complete strangers... it completely warms my heart. I can honestly say I have never felt this kind of support in my entire life. I wish I could show each and every one of you the massive impact your kindness has made on me.
To say I am grateful is an understatement. I am incredibly excited, and if I’m being completely honest, a little nervous for Saturday. As many of you know, being newly deaf and almost mute means navigating large groups of people can be a bit difficult for me when it comes to communication. But because so many of you already know and have been so incredibly understanding, a lot of that fear is taken away. I know I am in good hands. Saturday is going to be a day that I will hold in my heart forever.

Bringing a Silent Auction Basket? If you are bringing a basket or donation the morning of the event, you can drop them off inside Road Trip Bar. They have a dedicated room set up for the silent auction, and someone will be right there to take your items.
