Meet Madison! Our newest baker 👩🏼‍🍳 I couldn’t make Caledonia sweeter all by myself! 🤩

My name is Madison!
I was born and raised right here in Caledonia, and I’m proud to call this wonderful community home. My love for baking comes from the joy of creating something special and sharing it with others. There’s just something about homemade baked goods that brings people together and makes life a little sweeter!
When I’m not baking, you can usually find me spending time with my family, getting lost in a good book, or enjoying life with my partner and our two beloved dogs. Family and my faith means everything to me, and I believe that some of the best memories are made around the table, sharing delicious treats with the people we love!

✨ Summer has arrived in Rochester, and so has our newest issue!

On the cover, we're featuring Kelly Homes of NY and showcasing Pollok Place, a private North Greece community where contemporary style, comfort, and luxury come together.

Inside, we spend a summer day at Homesteads for Hope, from farm animals and harvesting to the exciting new Happy Harvest Market and Thursdays at the Farm, which might just become your new favorite summer tradition.

If you have a sweet tooth, you'll want to meet Alexxis Ellison of Baby Cakes Bake Shop and learn all about Cake Fest Roc. We're also celebrating creativity with local makers, including Megs & Co, Stitched by Hands Custom Embroidery, Light My Candle Co., and LaCott Fine Art, proving it's never too late to pick up a new hobby.

Looking for fresh inspiration at home? Yari Garcia shares simple summer styling ideas, while a local Rochester family shows how preserving historic charm can create a home that's both beautiful and lived in.

As always, you'll find plenty of local businesses, shops, events, restaurants, and ideas woven throughout the issue to help you make the most of the season.

Our Home Team will be out delivering soon, so keep an eye out at Wegmans, your favorite coffee shops, boutiques, and local spots.
