Royal Allure

Upright dimensional beauty. Cakes are fondant covered 4" high rounds adorned with white royal icing floodwork panels. Piped panel detail consists of white royal icing beading, navy royal icing beading and inner navy royal icing scrolls. Panels add notable weight to each cake, therefore very strong wooden cake boards are recommended. Cake stands and separators must also be ultra sturdy and sound.

Once amply glued with royal icing at their seams, the floodwork panels will adhere tightly to each other when fully dried, making transport of each layer to the venue quite uncomplicated.

Quiet Sophistication and Allure

Simple yet very elegant. This Beverley Way Collection concept is covered in cream colored fondant and adorned with hand piped dimensional black royal icing lace. The icing lace creation involves only two or three common icing tips and very simple piping.

Statuesque in Chic Stylized Weave

A touch of old, and a touch of new. This romantic four-tiered Beverley Way Collection design is shown in two tones. Each cake is covered in pure white fondant and decorated with pastel aqua-colored decorative dried fondant extensions.

These curved extensions may be alternatively composed of colored pastillage which will dry very hard if transportation/venue circumstances require a more rigid exterior. The extension strips are pre-dried over a curved surface, then attached to each cake side. Royal icing bead detail is applied between each extension piece for additional adhesive strength and to complete the decorative woven appearance. A silk flower topper is intentionally placed slightly off-center for a soft chic touch.

This four-tiered cake design is a wonderful play with shadows which change with angles of ambient light.

The concept is shown here in white, but take a few blissful moments to imagine the design in two tones of pastel rose, tones of caramel and chocolate, or tones of airy minty winter blues. Each cake tier is heart shaped and fondant covered, however the lace pieces can be conveniently placed on numerous cake shapes and sides. The dimensional lace is hand piped utilizing a template and creation of each piece moves quite quickly once you become familiar with the simplified “flow” of the piped design. Simple hand piped flowerettes add delicate detail between the individual lace pieces.
