Thank you for looking at my albums--cake decorating is an obsession for me that started about 16 years ago when my children were small. I was the baker for The Long Pond Family Restaurant for about 4 1/2 years before opening my own place and was encouraged by all the positive feedback from the diners! ly become friends! I try very hard to make every cake fresh, delicious and custom made for the person of honor at your party. My favorite compliment is when someone writes to me after their party and says "People who never eat cake had 2 pieces!" I think folks today are so used to having party cakes from big box stores that they have forgotten how good they taste when they are fresh. There is a huge difference in quality and do you really end up saving any money by buying from bulk stores if no one actually eats the cake? If you're going to spend the money and the calories--shouldn't you enjoy every bite?

THEY'RE BAAAACKK!! Cinnamon Rolls will be hot and ready around 9:30 this morning! We make them on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and serve them plain, or with Cream Cheese Icing or Buttercream on the side so you can slather it on yourself! 621-1515

You can order them ahead of time or call in the morning and we'll set some aside for you!

We stop making them in the summertime due to the large increase in cake orders. People have been calling for weeks wondering when they'll be back again--and here they are! Come and get 'em!

Welcome back to another school year! We are wishing all the scholars and teachers a very successful year! Remember, you have a 100% Average today--your job is to keep it there! If you want to celebrate this beautiful accomplishment with dessert, we welcome you in! 621-1515

To those who have been asking, we will be starting Cinnamon Rolls again this Thursday! We sell them on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. They usually are hot out of the oven by 9:30. We always serve them plain or with Cream Cheese Icing or Buttercream served on the side so you can slather it on to your liking! You can call ahead and order some if you want to be sure to get them!

We welcomed our newest furbaby to the family last week and would like you to meet Rose! (Think Buttercream Roses and Rockcastle Roses) We want to thank our friends Verona Street Animal Society for keeping her safe and loved until we could bring her home! Some of you know that we lost our boy, Baker, this past March after 14 precious years with him! We waited patiently for him to send us someone special and he led us straight to Rosie! We love them both so much!

Happy Labor Day Weekend! We are open 9-3 today, then closed Sunday and Monday. We have Cakes, Pies, Cupcakes, Cheesecakes, Cookies, Savastano's Mini Pizzas, Stuffed Breads and Italian Breads, Special T Brownies, Sweet Breads and more! 621-1515

We are collecting feminine hygiene products in a box in the lobby for the local food Pantries. These are necessary items that are often overlooked as donations, so they asked us for some help. We will be collecting them throughout September. Thank you!

Happy Birthday to our Sue! (It was yesterday, but she had the day off) My friend who started working for me 1 or 2 days a week in the early days of the bakery. Her job is to write on your cakes and make them beautiful for you. No one makes prettier flowers than Sue! I love her so much and so many of you do, too!

Last night was a wild ride my friends! We hope everyone was safe, warm and dry! Anyone crazy like me and watching the lightning from their porch outside? Luckily, the sun is back today and we made it through and we're back to business as usual!

I don't know about you but I do love a good thunderstorm! It's truly one of my favorite things! If you happen to be out in it today, I'd like to remind you of our Wednesday Cupcake Sale--buy 5, get 1 free or $30/dozen! On Saturday's we get Mini Pizzas, Stuffed Breads and Italian Breads from our friends at Savastano's Bakery. They usually arrive hot out of their ovens to our shop around 10:15.

We have Pumpkin Breads and Pumpkin Pies, for enjoying the crisper air. We also have Peach Custard Pies, Fruit Pies, Cakes, Cupcakes, Cookies, Brownies and more

We are making more peach pies this morning, finishing up the peaches I bought at Zarpentine's and starting the new batch from DeConincks. This has been a summer of farm market roulette and I have loved every second of it! Have you visited any new markets this year? Which are your favorite?
