Wedding Cake Trend: Rosettes. Textural sugar-made roses all over the cake makes for a fun added dimension that is different and unique but the look is still elegant and beautiful. One caveat? The color. Stick to white or ivory rosettes. (Allover light pink rosettes may look too juvenile.) If you choose rosettes for a single tier, you have to be sure to balance that textured layer so that your eye does not get stuck there.

Wedding Cake Trend: Woodland. Earthy, whimsical wedding themes are hot at the moment, so it's no wonder that the same aesthetic is big for wedding cakes too. To achieve this look, choose a white or ivory color and accent it with fresh or lifelike sugar flowers and leaves. You can even have one of our designers finish the cake with some "faux bois" and carved initials. How you display this cake is key. One pretty idea is to place your cake on top of a wooden tree ring decorated with moss and leaves.
