Creatively Katz' Gluten Free Treats I am just a human being that loves to bake and create along her journey thru life in the most real, unpretentious way possible. Baby Steps. What can I say?

*** Everything is made-from-scratch with the freshest ingredients & custom GF flour blends*** I have dealt with a variety of "medical issues" for most of my life, and I have always just tried to keep moving forward. I have battled my weight, my self-worth, my value, injuries, medical diagnose

s and eating issues. A couple of years ago, it all came to a head when I became humbled and broken. I had a scheduled knee replacement surgery, which was followed 5 days later with an urgent OPEN gallbladder removal. The icing on that cake came two months later, when an injured lumbar disc and a torn rotator cuff/bicep tendon sent me further down the spiral. Sprinkle COVID on top, and I am now blessed to add the diagnosis of "Systemic Sclerosis sine Scleroderma." At the end of the day, I have genetic and auto-immune conditions that essentially cause my body to attack itself, and to overreact to traumas/insults. I have been gluten-free (for the majority) of the past 20 years. [yes. this means that I have had periods of weakness when I have "fallen off the wagon," and said, "F@*% it," only to suffer with regret later. I am human.]

Baking and Creating feed my soul in a way that eating or binging never could. I am simply me. An imperfect person in an imperfect world, baking her way to peace and kindness, one treat at a time.
