Newbury Park Pastries Newbury Park Pastries is a specialty pastry shop featuring hand crafted pot pies and pastries. Call or visit our website to place your order!

Our shop is open Thursday 3-5pm, Friday 3-6pm & Saturday 11am-3pm & find us at the Brighton Market on Sunday. Owner Kate Schlenker first began her pastry career at the very young age. After quickly graduating from her Easy Bake Oven, she began baking kneaded breads at the age of six. Her interest in food continued through high school, when she wrote the business plan she has followed for the past

25 years. Less that 6 months after graduating from high school she put that plan into effect and opened her commercial bakery business. With the help of her loving mother, she attended college and graduated with a BS degree in Food Marketing & Distribution from Rochester Institute of Technologies school of Hospitality and Tourism Management. After completing college, Kate concentrated her efforts to grow her business by being an early identifier the latest food trends and marketing new product lines ahead of local competitors. Her latest venture includes a line of scratch made pot pies. Breaking away from solely running commercial business, NPP products are now available in retail outlets and many area farmer markets.
