Terms & Conditions
By placing an order with Sweets By Zee, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking & Deposit
A NON-REFUNDABLE 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your order date.
* Your order is NOT confirmed until the 50% deposit has been received.
* Dates are not held without payment of the required deposit.
* The deposit is applied toward your total order balance.
* By submitting your deposit, you agree to all of Sweets By Zee’s Terms & Conditions.
2. Remaining Balance
The remaining 50% balance is due on the day your order is due.
* Orders will not be released until the balance has been paid in full.
* Failure to pay the remaining balance may result in cancellation of the order and forfeiture of the deposit.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
If you need to cancel your order, the deposit will not be returned. Depending on the circumstances and availability, Sweets By Zee may allow an order to be rescheduled at its discretion.
Once an order has been started or completed, no refunds will be issued.
4. Order Changes
Please make sure all order details are correct when booking.
Changes to flavors, quantities, colors, themes, designs, or other details must be requested as early as possible and are subject to availability.
Changes that require additional supplies, labor, or specialty materials may result in an additional charge.
5. Custom Designs & Edible Decals
Sweets By Zee is happy to accommodate custom themes and designs whenever possible.
* Large edible decals and specialty edible images are an additional up-charge.
* Custom designs may require additional time and materials and will be quoted accordingly.
* The final product may have slight variations from digital inspiration photos due to the handmade nature of the products.
6. Individual Wrapping
Individual wrapping is available for an additional $5 fee per order.
If individual wrapping is requested after the order has already been prepared, an additional charge may apply.
7. Delivery
Local delivery is available for an additional $5 delivery fee.
* Delivery fees may vary for locations outside of the standard delivery area.
* The customer is responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and being available to receive the order.
* Sweets By Zee is not responsible for delays caused by an incorrect address, inability to access the delivery location, or the recipient not being available.
8. Pickup
Customers choosing pickup must arrive during the agreed-upon pickup window.
Once the order has been picked up, responsibility for the order transfers to the customer. Sweets By Zee is not responsible for damage caused by improper transportation, handling, storage, or exposure to heat after pickup.
9. Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions
Sweets By Zee products are prepared in a home kitchen where common allergens may be present.
Products may come into contact with ingredients containing milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and other allergens.
Customers are responsible for informing Sweets By Zee of any allergies or dietary restrictions before placing an order. While reasonable precautions may be taken, Sweets By Zee cannot guarantee an allergen-free product.
10. Product Appearance
Sweets By Zee products are handmade and may have slight variations in color, size, shape, design, and decoration.
Reference photos are used as inspiration. Exact replicas cannot always be guaranteed.
11. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for reviewing their order details before finalizing their booking, including:
* Date
* Pickup/delivery information
* Quantity
* Flavors
* Colors
* Theme
* Spelling of names/words
* Customization requests
* Any other requested details
Sweets By Zee is not responsible for errors that were provided or approved by the customer.
12. Late Payments
If the remaining balance is not paid when due, Sweets By Zee reserves the right to withhold the order until payment is received.
Orders that remain unpaid may be cancelled, and the original 50% deposit will remain non-refundable.
13. Photos & Social Media
Sweets By Zee may photograph completed orders for promotional purposes, including social media, advertising, menus, and business portfolios.
If you do not want your order photographed or posted, please let Sweets By Zee know before the order is completed.
14. Agreement
By submitting your order and/or paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
