☕ A Little Heartfelt Reminder From Papa’s Roast ❤️
We will not be at the Rochester Farmers Market this morning.
One thing I have always believed in, both personally and as a small business owner, is consistency. Showing up. Being there when people count on you.
After taking some much-needed time off in September, I was determined to get back into our routine and be there for you every Saturday, just as you've come to expect from us.
But sometimes, life has other plans.
Last night, one of my main helpers became sick, and another needed to be available for her family. And while I completely understand that family and health come first, I still woke up this morning with that familiar ache in my stomach.
The part of me that never wants to let anyone down was telling me to load up, head to the market, and tackle the morning crowd on my own.
But the other part of me knew the truth. Mentally and physically, I just couldn't do it alone today.
As a small business owner, it's hard to accept that sometimes you simply can't do it all. There's a lot of pressure we put on ourselves to always show up, always push through, and never disappoint anyone.
But I'm learning that knowing your limits is just as important as knowing your goals. ❤️
To our amazing Farmers Market customers, I am truly sorry we won't be there to serve you today. I know some of you make us part of your Saturday morning routine, and that means more to me than you know.
Thank you for continuing to support our little family business, for your patience, and for understanding that behind every cup of coffee is a small team of real people doing their very best.
