Well, there was a day about 4yrs ago I was spending about 12+hrs straight from 2a-2p baking loaves of bread in my home oven. 5-6 loaves at a time, pots of boiling water, trays of lava rocks, rotations, etc. Hours of grueling work to rush to a tiny market by 3p, set up, sell out in an hour, and then pack it all up and keel over. It was rough. Then came my RackMaster Oven USA from Campbell🏴🏴 to change my life. What had been a 12+ hr bake became a manageable 3-4hrs with 2-3x the output possible. Quality and consistency also improved. I was able to start putting bread into amazing, supportive local groceries like Loris Natural Foods Center RsMarket Tree Town Cafe Red Bird Market
I opened up my retail location provisions and a few months later, found my bakery’s home in the North Winton Village Association
Once again the hours grew long as the output far surpassed the means of this oven and the i had since acquired.
I spent the last 3 yrs pushing my bread through 3 ovens and yet another grueling process to make more bread than should be made by one human with my setup. But it was what I had. I made it work.
With all the love and support of my community, we have finally transitioned to a gigantic 5-deck oven and these sweet beasts are for sale. As you can tell by my sappy post, I get a little nostalgic saying goodbye to them. They were a ton of fun, and are absolute solid workhorses. Here’s to them finding the next person to help bring from A to B, easing their workload and making their baking dreams come true. I hope they will continue to feed a new community of bread lovers. cottagebakery
