✨Update✨
With the holiday season coming up, I wanted to get a transparent update out about my plans for Carrie’s Cookies. I know this update is long overdue and I apologize! It’s been a difficult decision to make and posting about it makes it feel so final and sad. Ultimately, I need to continue with doing what is best for myself at this time.
When I decided to step back and take a break from baking earlier this year, I had no idea just how much of a positive thing it would be for me. The burnout was real and my carpal tunnel issues were at their max. Between maintaining some degree of a work/life balance, the carpal tunnel, and being in the process of moving, it is the right thing for me to continue on this hiatus. So, for the foreseeable future I will not be returning to taking orders or doing holiday sales. I may decide to return at some point (in a much smaller capacity) but as of right now I don’t have any specific plans.
I am SO SO thankful to each and every one of you who allowed my small business to be such a success with your endless support, and I could not have grown it into what I did without you. I am forever grateful for the love you have for my cookies and hope to someday bake for you again! 🥹🥰
