Some moments in life feel like prayers answered, and this was one of them. ❤️

We traveled to California with open hearts, hoping to learn from a bakery that has inspired us for so many years. What we experienced was more than we ever imagined.

Spending time with Beatriz Porto and getting a behind-the-scenes look at the passion, dedication, and love that goes into Porto’s was truly life-changing. We learned so much about their products, processes, and what it takes to build a business that generations of families have come to love.

As a small family bakery, we constantly strive to grow, improve, and serve our community better every single day. This experience reminded us that big dreams are possible with hard work, faith, and a commitment to your customers.

We are incredibly grateful to God for opening these doors and to every single one of our customers who support Cakes by Edith. Because of YOU, we are able to learn, grow, and continue building something special for our family and our community.

This Editha’s Greatest Bake Off was one for the books! ✈️🍞

For the very first time ever, we took Editha’s Greatest Bake Off out of state and traveled to California to compete against another amazing local bakery, Alebrijes Bakery. What an incredible experience it was to connect with fellow bakers, share our passion, and celebrate our love for pan dulce.

Competing alongside the Co**ha King himself was truly an honor, and we’re so grateful for the friendships and memories made along the way. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who supports Cakes by Edith and allows us to chase these big dreams. This is only the beginning!

Today we had the incredible honor of meeting with Beatriz Porto, one of the owners of Porto’s Bakery in California.

We are beyond grateful for the opportunity to spend time with a true legend in the bakery industry. During our visit, we received a full tour of their amazing operation and gained valuable insight into what it takes to build a business that is so loved by its community and so successful.

The reason we took this business trip is simple: we have big dreams for our family bakery. We are constantly learning, growing, and investing in our future so we can continue providing the very best for our customers and our community.

We can’t wait to represent Utah, celebrate our culture, meet amazing bakers, and bring our community along for the ride.

🎓💜 We are beyond proud of our little brother, George, on his graduation from Riverton High School!

This fall, he’ll continue his academic and athletic journey at Snow College, where he’ll be wrestling while pursuing a degree in business. We know his hard work, determination, and dedication will take him far.

We’re also excited to welcome him to the Cakes by Edith team, where he’ll help build and carry on our family legacy for generations to come.
