Four Kids Fudge is a home-based candy shop and bakery business featuring homemade award-winning artisanal-style fudge available in *16 different varieties as well a variety of artisanal-style bakery items. All of the items we prepare in our cottage kitchen feature our own recipes and creations. Our Artisanal-Style Fudge:
I created this recipe over 33 years ago one December morning when I needed
to make gifts for our daughter Sarah's teachers, and wanted to make them homemade fudge, and the rest, as they say, is history! In 2006, after moving to Virginia, I decided to make it official and open our cottage business naming it after our four children. Our journey has recently taken us back up to the North Fork of Long Island, NY, but we can ship anywhere in the United States via USPS. The best way to describe our fudge is not at all like the "typical" fudge, which can be more frosting-like. Ours is a firm chocolate that is smooth and not grainy or gritty. And although we do not offer a sugar free variety, our fudge is not overly nor cloyingly sweet. What you're tasting is the chocolate as the star with whatever accompaniment as a compliment to the chocolate itself. The best compliment we get is, "This is the best fudge I have ever had!" **We do happily honor special requests for different varieties not listed above. Two pounds is the minimum size we can offer on these special requests. Please allow at least two weeks' notice for time to formulate your specialty variety and procure any special ingredients necessary to create your special order! Contact me for pricing as it will depend upon the specialty variety desired as well as ingredients required. Thank you for your cooperation!
**Payment accepted is cash, personal check, and major credit cards. There is a $ 10.00 minimum purchase with credit/debit cards. We do not impose additional fees as some bigger stores do. Please note, all personal checks must have a valid driver's license number and two phone numbers listed for ID purposes. All returned checks subject to a $50.00 returned check fee. **We offer shipping and prefer to ship out on Mondays or Tuesdays whenever possible. Shipping and handling fees are based upon weight and destination as well as carrier.

**Care instructions: Wrapped well, our fudge will keep in the refrigerator for at least a few weeks and can be frozen in an airtight container for at least six months. We have had customers tell us they have frozen it for several months, defrosted it, and had it as fresh as when they first froze it! As a side note, please do not leave our fudge sitting on your counter as it will dry out! No refunds or replacements offered! Wishing you only sweet thoughts! Deirdre
