SCREAMING happy birthday to my little sister, Maddie 🧡

Forever down for some fun, always keeping it real, and somehow always in the middle of saving a cat somewhere. 😂🐈 we couldn’t imagine it any other way 🧡

And apparently Madden wanted in on the birthday wishes too, because Auntie Maddie even got a full-toothed smile out of him. 😂🦷

☔️🌿 A little rain never scared a bunch of hippies.

It might not be the sunniest Saturday, and the rain looks like it’s settling in for the rest of the market, but WE’RE HERE, the tables are full, and honestly? Sourdough tastes just as good under an umbrella. 🤪✌️

A little hippie hibernation this weekend. 🌼✌️

We won’t be at the market tomorrow. A few things came up this week that took just about every ounce of energy we had, and rather than run ourselves completely into the ground, we’re taking the weekend to recharge our batteries. 🔋

We’ll miss seeing all of your lovely faces, but we’ll be back next Saturday, rested, recharged, and bringing our full menu + more:

💛 Ted Lasso’s Biscuits With The Boss, made using the official recipe from the show

These buttery little biscuits are our first-ever non-sourdough item, because we couldn’t bring ourselves to mess with Ted’s recipe. Share them with your boss, bring them home for yourself, or eat them in the car before anyone knows they existed. We won’t tell. 😉

🧡 Today is the day. 🧡

Join us at the Hudson Farmers Market on CARMICHAEL from 8 AM to Noon as we celebrate the life of our dear friend and fellow vendor, Jake Wagner.

Wear a little orange or your favorite tropical shirt, grab an orange remembrance ribbon, and stop by the South Ridge Ranch Bacon booth to leave a card, share a memory, or help support the Wagner family.

Be sure to check out today’s community raffle, too! Our incredible market vendors have donated some amazing prizes, and every $5 ticket helps support Stacey, Abby, Gavin, and the entire Wagner family.

We’ll be keeping things simple at our booth today with our regular lineup of naturally fermented sourdough bread, Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies, and English Muffins.

More than anything, we hope you’ll come spend the morning with us. Jake loved this market, and today we’re filling it with the same kindness, generosity, and community spirit that he brought to it every single Saturday. 🧡

There are moments when a community comes together because one of our own needs us.

As so many of you know, we recently lost our dear friend Jake Wagner. He was the kind of person who would show up for anyone without hesitation, always ready with a helping hand, a kind word, or a generous heart. His love for Stacey, Abby, and Gavin was evident in everything he did.

A GoFundMe has been created to help ease the financial burden his family is now facing, including funeral and memorial expenses, medical bills, and everyday household costs as they navigate this unimaginable loss.

Good morning, friends. 🧡

We’ll be at the Hudson Farmers Market on CARMICHAEL today from 8-noon, and while we’ll have plenty of sourdough, today is about something more, too.

It’s our first Saturday market since we lost our friend, Jake. As a community, we’re taking a quiet moment to remember him, and you’ll find a remembrance table at the market where anyone is welcome to pause, reflect, or leave a note for his family.

A special thank you to the sweet kiddos at Heartland Montessori School, and to my sister, Molli, for the beautiful flowers that brighten the table. Such a simple act of kindness, and such a beautiful one. 💛

After losing our friend Jake last week, I’ve been reminded more than ever how important those little moments really are. The conversations, the laughs, the extra few minutes spent with the people we love, and of course, the hugs.

This market has never just been about bread. It’s about the people, the friendships, and the little community we’ve built together every Saturday morning.
